张衡及其科学研究在科学史上占据重要地位,但我国的科学史教育及科学教育中并未重视其价值.文章通过分析教科书相关内容编写现状,重新塑造科学史教育中张衡及其科学研究应有的形象,提出以此为代表的科学史教科书编写的原则、方式,并对编写中的疑难问题作出了初步的回答.

In the history of science,Zhang Heng and his scientific studies are highly viewed;however,little attention is paid to them in the practice of teaching science and the history of science.Based upon the analysis of the relevant content of the course-book and the current situation concerning its compilation,this paper is trying to re-establish the deserved figure of Zhang Heng and his scientific studies in the history of science,advancing the principles and approaches for the compilation of the course-book and meanwhile,offering some tentative answers to the questions and doubts that might pop up in the compilation.
